While headed back to Paris after wrapping up a business trip I was caught up in a nasty bit of weather in Philly. While it looks for a time like we might not even make it into the airport, and would end up diverted to Atlantic City, we did finally manage to sneak in.
However, the severity of the storm had delayed thousands of passengers and the airlines were scrambling to find new flight for all. I ended up getting bumped 24 hours, and instead of lounging around the airport and losing my mind I grabbed my camera and set off in search of adventure.
I eventually found my way to Eastern State Penitentiary, which was the first jail of it's kind built in the world. It now stands in varying states of ruin, and makes for a million great photographs at every turn.
