how do I make an image auto resize on a webpage ?

ok here is what I mean
if you take your browser right now & drag the corner making the browser window slall you will see this board resizes it's self to fit what ever sizt view you have but the image on top don't resize !

so how in the world do I set that ?
hehe i'm still learning but i think I skipped this part some how lol

u want the pic to change size?
well, u could transform it to vector
or u could somehow make a js or php script and set the image size as a variable, which is a proporition of the screen

just throwing out ideas here, don't really know

I don't know if you can do that...you'd probably need to auto refresh everytime the window is resized as well, which would be an annoyance for the dial-uppers. Take a table, for example, sized to 100% width. When you open the page it will be the same width as the window. Drag the window larger, and the table remains the same width until you refresh the page.

humm ok so I did not miss that chapter lol

well as for tables it resizes on my browser with out refreshing thats why I thought you could do that with an image also just thought I missed something along the way hehe guess not

Oh yeah...guess you're right. The problem I was having was with a scrollbar. If you scroll to the right, you see the edge of the table.

Well then, I don't know. I'd just suggest doing some tests.
