I kinda forgot about this game when it came out, but i just got around to downloading a demo... whoa!
Definatly going to get this one.

No, i got a $40 video card and i run games at low detail. Actually didnt have to lower this one at all, but I can tell its tweaked down a little. 20 FPS just doesnt bother me as much as it would some people, i guess.

mafia is a great game... it's only downfall was it release at the same time as GTA 3. I personally think it's a better game than GTA 3... better story telling if nothing else. Apparently however, a lot of other people failed to agree with me.

i had my doubts at first but then i played it and found myself in the middle of scarface........ only better... better than scarface what is this blasphamy you speak how can it be better......... duh cause you're controling things... lol

then again if you've played and beat vice city then go shoot em up in mafia

GTA3 was a snore fest.
I never even got to the 3rd island legit.
Screw it.
But Vice City is perfection.

I hated Mafia. It was a snore fest from the beginning. Maybe if I stuck it out longer it would of gotten better, but it just didn't have a that fun factor I feel in so few games.

Personally I found GTA3 to be amazing right to the end, and the reason I put down close to $400 for a new video card. Which only fueled my urgancy to play Vice City which was also stellar. Now I'm just waiting for Activision to release Streets of LA on the PC, and Driver 3.

Too bad for some obscure reason neither Vice City or GTA3 will run on my system anymore. I'm going in to withdrawl. Maybe I'll see if I have a copy of Mafia somewhere and give a second go.

The one thing that I found the most annoying about Mafia was that you have to keep your speed limit or the cops would come, and the cars initially sucked ass as for control and speed.

In the demo i didnt do a whole lotta driving, but the shootout in the parking garage was awesome.
and with Model T's and shit, whatta ya expect?
