I'm looking for a vcard that supports tv-out but works on a 60in. I've gotten an nvidia mx440 and those don't look good on the 60in, does anyone know of one that does or what I could look for to determine for myself?

You need to consider HDTV output through DVI or something. SVideo just doesn't have the resolution you need.

New nVidia Forceware drivers support TV out through DVI now.
ATI has a card with component out too.

I guess the first question that should be asked here, that everyones missed so far is....

Is this a newer Widescreen HDTV? Or is this a older standard 60 Inch TV.

Older TV's will only support 640x480, HDTV supports higher res, and usually have some sort of "Alternative" input.

For example, my 64inch has VGA in, along with Composite, SVid, and your standard RCA and F.

What kind of connectors does yours support?

I got it last xmas, so I don't think it's that old? It doesn't have a vga connection but it does have composite and another connection which I don't know the name but it looks like a white rectangle with two rows for pins, but the pins are thick or squarish looking.

I was looking at the aiw 9600 it's got the out for composite. Anyone have any experience with this card? It's a decent price so I was hoping to get a few of these when I upgrade all my pc's.

Any newer card (NVIDIA or ATI) with a DVI connector, should be good.

I saw this card:

which has what I need and comes from a good manufacturer, but I don't know if the 64mb would work for an htpc?
