wow.

Great way to end it off. A few of my predictions were right, but still got blindsided by a couple things.

I look forward to re-watching the entire series in the near future, without the annoyance of those long breaks in between. The second watch through should be really good.

What did you think of the ending?

It was a good wrap up, although I've been of the mind that they jumped the shark somewhere in season 4/4.5 due to the writer's strike and more soap opera instead of space fighting-shootan action.

I like the way they decided to end it, really tied up all the loose ends nicely. I'd give it about 7/10 on the satisfaction meter.

i think its a great storyline, and really good sci-fi too...

but everytime i watch an episode, i squirm just a little bit everytime somebody uses the word "frak" and all of its derivations.

frak you, fraking this or fraking that, frak it...

it annoys the bee-jeesus out of me.

I always substituted frak for fuck, that made it interesting.*LOL*

It was a bit odd at first but I go used to it, they weren't the first sci-fi to use replacements for profanity. Firefly substituted chinese for "passionate" expressions, and Farscape had it's own array (frell, hezmata, drell) that were obvious alien versions of words censors don't like.

BTW does anyone have a theory as to why...

I recorded it, the first few seasons I wasn't into it but as I started to watch it I liked it. now it's gone like gsa and sg1.

at least I have all the seasons on pc and dvds.

(hence the network question in hardware) - need to get to the dual layer burner in the regularly used pc.

I just ordered dl blank disc, also got the dvd player with xvid support, just gonna burn the files.

thats how long i watched that show and cringed every time i heard that word. its not the word that bothers me... its that it sounds strange, funny, out of place, and takes away from the seriousness of the scene every time i hear it.

ok, thats enough out of me about this.

I haven't watched more than 5 minutes of BSG. I like Sci-Fi shows, but BSG seems more like a soap- opera. That's why SG & SGA are so good (no drama). Now that it's over, I may try watching it again.

I just started watching Quantum Leap, so maybe during the summer.
