cousin just got a new comp most of her dl movies are divx I want to get a codec pack since I used gordian or matroska in xp what's the best one that's clean and error free?

I actually like MPC's interface better than VLC's (and it did take me some time to finally decide to convert). I miss MPC but I don't like dealing with all that codec crap. I wonder if keeping the .dll's in the same folder as MPC would work though? Hmmm...
What I do like about VLC is the more time you spend with it's features, the more you get out of it. But it does well out of the box, so to speak.
I kinda like having the mouse wheel set as a fast volume level control for when I'm starting to fall asleep and loud noises like guns or jet noises start being heard. *lol*
