I had win 7 on a partition from main C drive I decided to rejoin E and C together to get the drive as one again although after removing win7 sometime ago I can't get rid of it on the boot screen asking which op I want to boot into?

how do I remove it thanks?

edit the boot.ini file in notepad.

ended up formating the fecking thing, tried changing the boot.ini but it only showed XP and not win7 formatting the thing ended it all lol

Yea the boot.ini is for xp, so it would usually only show the xp entry.
You had to use the very odd and confusing bootcfg I think in 7. or the system properties has something.
Mine had a 10 sec choice for 7 or xp. and if you hit xp, then it had a 10 sec choice from the xp install for xp or recovery console.

I take that back. bootcfg is the one for xp to edit boot.ini
bcdedit is for vista/7
i guess worst comes to worst for my prob ill use a win7 recovery to add the boot data to my solo ide drive, and then from there edit bcd to add xp, blahblah jump jump...

shame they just dont make a 64bit version of these xbox360 apps
