They probably had no idea how to follow the simple 1-2-3-4 of the metronome. Creating music isn't as easy as it seems, which clearly, these kids have pointed out. Unless you have time, and LOTS of money (even a decent tuner isn't THAT expensive, and they're not difficult to learn to use!) to get your music sounding not like kittens and witches are being burned at the stake, learn to get your shit together before you become internet retards. However, the comments made my day. "i'm not sure what key you're playing in...i'm also not sure you do, either." Awesome.

And yes, HarryB, I'll produce your record. I'll let you know when I'm done recording school wink

But only if you sound like Harry. That's the only condition.

I'm a drummer. I have no idea what Harry sounds like on the drums! :P

Depends on what kind of performance he is putting on. Usually he has a bunch of pots and pans laid out, but sometimes uses his gut for a more organic sound.

Tama drums, Zildjian cymbals. I'm a single bass pedal kinda guy, although my band has been harassing me to no end to learn double pedal so we can play more metal stuff (which I really don't want to do...). Looking to get a set of Zildjian A Customs when my gigs start paying a bit more, which should be soon. We're booked for a show in a week and a half that's paying us $100 per band member minimum (depending on how much they make at the door with the $5 cover), which isn't bad at all for the bar circuit.

Tama = love. I want to own my own Tama kit one day. I'm a sabian fan myself, but I use Zildjian sticks. I play single kick, too. Mostly because left handed... er, left footed... kick pedals are still more expensive. At least the Iron Cobra is, as well as Dixon double kicks.

Bar scenes can be rough, hopefully you have a good crowd there, and not a group full of douche bags.

Heh, I would love an Iron Cobra, my poor old single pedal is just about dead. My band wants me to replace my steel snare with a brass piccolo, I'm thinking about it, it would be nice to have more pop. As for sticks, I just started playing with the Ahead polyurethane/alloy core sticks ( link ) because I am a stick DESTROYER and it sucks to replace my sticks every 2 weeks.

Bar scene's not too bad around where I am. It's a series of small/med towns, and a LOT of the people are guys I went to school with, or people generally of that age. Normally I have a lot of fun. And the $50-100 per band member doesn't hurt things either (plus most places are all-you-can-drink!).
