Relationships suck.

man, don't get me started.

wife tells me to get out what I want to eat. this was at 12 noon.
she was going to the hair salon to get her hair done, she left out at 2pm and reminded me to get out what I want to eat so she can cook it when she gets home.
she calls me at 8pm, she just got done at the salon and she's going to get something to eat (chinese food)and do I want her to bring me something, I go I'm not in the mood for chinese, I took out what I want, steak.
so my stomach and I have a conversation. normally I cook what I want to eat when I want to eat.

11pm, she calls, I think I sprained or broke my ankle.
I ask where? she says the restaurant, I ask, you're just leaving? she says no she left an hour ago, she dropped off her girlfriend. I o I thought you were getting takeout food, why would you bring me home cold chinese food?
I then say I could've cooked my own food, she says I'll try to cook it when she gets home.
I say forget it, lost my appetite.

karma is a mofo.

I got home today and my girlfriend has all my clothes laid out for me so I can go get a jog on before it gets too dark out... So I go, do my thing, and I get home, take a shower and she has a full blown porterhouse cooked with grilled asparagus, sauteed mushrooms, and a loaded baked potato. I take one bite of the meat to find that its medium WELL... She knows I like it medium RARE... So I threw it on the floor and had her clean it up... Next time she's gettin the back of my hand... She's jut gotta learn.... That said, all of the above story is true for yesterday except the medium well and its sequelae.... I love my girlfriend, she's the best Modest bragging aside, relationships are HARD... and they take a lot of work... people need their space so its not always easy to be around another person... and in general, women are a HELLUVA lot moodier than women. Some women (and men) just make the relationships easier than others. You've just gotta do what you can to support the person and respect their boundaries.. and let them know what yours are. Last thing to say,sorry Harry, hadn't read your post...
