Still can't get the thought outta my head its just funny.

Been doing some file recovery from a faulty 20GB Maxtor HDD. After having it plugged in over USB in a case, all my ports fail to operated right from the BIOS. Linux gives out horrible non stop messages about it. I've been relegated to my PS2 ports on USB adapters.

I guess I should of taken the power bar that burst into sparks and turned in a fiery goo as warning sign.

Now that I have about 4Gigs recovered from a deep search in Photorec and Testdisk till shit all segfaulted. I keep thinking oh I'll just put it on a USB ... or this USB ... Or that USB.... or RIGHT. *facepalm

And this is the 'working' drive. I still have the 'totally busted drive', and Zip100 to fight with.

we had a dell 9100 with all usb' dead, no ps2 so it won't boot and errors with keyboard and floppy disc (which it doesn't have)

so some other guy this customer knew most likely fucked it up.
so I figure install a usb card, nope. then said fuck it. bitch is dead.

Thats more bad than I'm bad. Rest of the the system seems fine.
Last guy that worked on the drive was an 'IT' guy. Said it was dead. I showed him. ;/

Guess this system is the beater system now. Not willing to invest anything in it now.
