Well it took me a week of research but I finally got my TC4200 setup with Leopard. I got almost all the gadgets working on it too.

Here is what I managed to get to work.

Chipset
Lan
bluetooth
Graphics
Audio
ACPI
Intel Speedstep
Battery Charge capacity and adapter plugin
Sleep
PS2 synaptics pad with the one finger scroll
Wacom tablet screen an extra pen buttons

Not working yet.
Intel 2200bg wifi card - so I ordered a broadcom from ebay for $7

It was quite a bit of work, I'll admit but the win7 drivers sucked and XP is going EOL soon. Vista is the most annoying operating system I have ever used. Linux never did get the tablet stuff working. So mac os X it is.

So now I have a hackintosh tablet.. I'm grabbing ilife, iwork and some of the adobe products to put on it. Should be fun.

I need to make a bash script to automatically set the mac address for the en0 cause it always starts as 00:00:00:00:00 and some routers dissaprove.

Booya

Update, just got back from the store with a little airlink golden N card. The box said mac os x for the supported systems and it works great. 20 bucks, doesn't stick out any more than a penny from the usb port. The range is better than the card in the laptop.

I'm impressed. With that Wacom interface it's perfect for adding Adobe stuff, no? I've got a Pentium IV repair I'm waiting for a CPU to arrive from Korea on. I may put OSX86 on it.

Yeah it is fantastic for photoshop. I'm trying to avoid adobe stuff lately and forcing myself to use gimp for most things. I really hate the selection tools in gimp and the overall just ugliness of the interface but it may just be because I have been such a fan of photoshop since version 4.
