Duke Nuken 3D was great. Almost as significant as when Doom came out. Plus, it was fun to play online. I wasted thousands of hours playing. Then of course UT came along. Quake was nice, but UT was the game to play.

May 3, 2011 is the release date for the game. I can't wait!!!

I believe they open sourced the code, so there should be many improved versions kicking around.

I was a heavy user of the game, the build editor was amazing. Spent most of my time making maps. Got a couple my maps included on some map cd's that were sold in stores. :P Back in the day, you could kick ass on minimum spec req's, 486-66.
