I found this lying at the bottom of my case today (attached pic). It apparently isn't vital to the function of the puter, considering I'm not having any problems. Looks like maybe it's the PC speaker? Or maybe FBI bug?

on your mobo there is are speaker pins right near the power sw, reset , and hd led pins.

I thought they were usually attached a bit more securely than just something plugged in and flopping around on a wire.

I guess as long as I'm having no troubles I'll just leave it. If things go bad I can then plug it in and hope maybe it will give me a beep beep message I can google to find the trouble.
