in advance settings, then under lan there's a virtual server option

the manual is shit and I don't have any running but let me know if that works, if not I'll open one up to see for myself.
the trendnet didn't do ranges and I sent that shit back with some choice words. make a router with no range forwarding, this is america, we steal shit and share it. rofl

what wan problem?
half the problems are comcast. had a client who after replacing several cat6 cables, then a cisco/linksys router narrowed the problem of lost internet access to the modem. they had to reset the modem several times a day and they blamed my equip and when I told them it's all new so get a tech out toreplace the shit.
the tech comes out, resets the modem and says it's working, the client called me, I tell the tech what's happening and that it is the modem so he replaces it and so far no problem.

Well maybe it's the modem
But you I had to release and renew ip few times a day
I thought it was the router so I replaced it tonight let's see what happens

As for this new router it's a pain in the ass
But next few days I'll try dd-wrt

Problem is I don't see how to forward a range for passive
Everything else is working
FTP was working with the linksys but not now with the asus

So far no dropped wan
I'll give it a few days
Then try dd-wrt
The only problem right now is this asus router does not do port forward for passive
Say 45000-46000
It only does one port at a time
So while I can connect to my FTP but I never get a dir list

ok, easier than cheating a blind deaf hooker out of her money.
see image.
in the port range in virtual server, type in the first port followed by the : then the end port. example 7749:7789

who's da shit, Harryb's da shit.

msi and asus does the same with their manuals for their motherboards. you need a hobbit to read their shit.
I carry a magnafier with me to zoom it up a bit.

I think I'm going to head over to asus US office with my padle of remembrance and ask them to read that fucking manual, and each time they mess up whack'em with the paddle of remembrance (pledge paddle with nails and glass embeded in it)
bet the next manual they'll release mr. magoo could read it.
