How come nobody told me how fricken easy it is to set up NFS shares? For the last year I've been accessing my music through an http server, since Samba is a royal pain in the butt.

It's brilliant. I don't use it much at home, but at home we have all storage areas (/var, /home/, and so on) on NFS shares. That makes it incredibly easy to have shared setups.
