Umm... i got 3 pcs now. one is a crappy old one that my little sister uses. its runnin Win95 and i want to figure out how to share files/printers between the boxes. The other 2 are Win2k. All are connected by a LinkSys 4port router. The 2 WIn2K boxes can do the sharing and printing fine. File sharing and printing are enabled on all 3 machines.

Can you see the win 95 box on the 2k box?

I can see all the puters from all the other puters. I have admin accounts on the 2 win2k boxes and no account on the Win95box. i dont even see where to make one. so um.... yeah i'l try what rez said. but if i'm on the win95 box and i click in network neighborhood on one of the other boxes then it asks for a PW, one i don't think i should need to enter and don't think i have set.

I got the Win2K boxes to print from the printer in the Win95 box. I still can't get the Win95 box to see the shared folders on the 2 win2k boxes. Dunno why but really wish i could get it to work. If i click on the WIn2K boxes from network neighbor hood from the win95 box i get asked for a password. one that i didn't assign, nor do i want it to ask for the pw. god i hate win9x....

are the win2k boxes ntfs format? cause i had the same problem with 98se and 2k..
