well just wanted to share this I'm enjoying my self with web developing I'v come a long way in a short time
Now I even setup a php version of this board on a remote host ...
I'm so looking forward to experimenting more I'm having one heck of a good time

in the conversion your going to port over the databases right doorgasm?

when I set up this site on the host ? if yes then your answer is yes

oh for the record it took me 13min to set the php version up on the remote host including uploading the files ,seting up a new database & telnet for making the tables in the database.

when I move this board to the remote host the only change will be that I'm going to set up the php version instead of the perl
not only is php faster but the host I'm getting has oc12 line so the site will be blazing in speed

cool.... So can I use it as a dump site for fxp stuff lol

funny no no warez will be stored there at all
however I think it will be nice for the members

heh, Its stupid..... if I'm paying for space on your server then it should be like real estate.... I should have the right to do illegal activities within my server space (home) and not be bothered about it just like in realestate.

In realestate if you invite freinds and perfect strangers onto your property ... and together you hunt through stolen items scattered about on the floor, in the garage, and in your yard, and you all trade bugulary kits .... Oh wait ... that is illegal too! Hence the reason you can't invite strangers and friends to your FTP server, and together you can not all trade stolen files, and cracking software.

If you are caught with a stolen car in your garage, it's illegal.

If you are caught with stolen software on your computer / ftp server, that is also illegal.

Pretty much the same idea.

Sometimes my concience bothers me... but usually it doesn't say a word.
