This game is really really good. It's hands down one of the best games I've ever played. I'm addicted... played it for like 6 hours today. I suggest you try it out... especially those of you who might have played Chrono Trigger for the SNES. There are relating events through Chrono Cross...

Anyways, you start off as this guy named Serge (you can name him whoever you like), and he has this prissy girlfreind, who wants him to collect three Kodo Dragon Scales for her to make a necklace out of. After doing that, Serge and Leena (girlfreind), meet up at a beach. They talk for awhile and then something suddenly happens... Serge wakes up on the same beach some time later. He's distorted, but fine. He sets off back to his hometown... but no one knows who he is... when he says that he's Serge, people tell him about an accident that happened 10 years ago... Serge is dead. He goes to his own grave and confirms it... but then how is he alive in this world? He's later confronted by three individuals, one a Dragoon Deva ... he's going to lose, but a girl, named Kidd (crappy name, huh?), comes to the rescue... she's a theif, and has a mysterious past. The two team up and defeat their attackers... then stay together to find out what's up with Serge, and Kidd has to get to a certain place as well...

From there, the story picks up and *literally* can split based on what anwsers you choose to questions people may ask... or events you choose to do (ie, save lives) ... the game is really great. I've never played a better Playstation game... ever... I've been playing for like 18 hours (four days) non stop, and I'm not even close to half way through....

yah it was a great game. but thats common with most squaresoft games. they're digital crack.

who's to say I'm not either.. everything just became the suck when they moved onto the psx platform.

Don't speak until you actually play CC, ... I'm serious, I've played all the FF's cept the one on PSX, and I agree that FF3 owns them, hands down. But I enjoyed Chrono Trigger much more than FF3, and Chrono Cross much more than Chrono Trigger... (still playing it) ... and with an emulator, you can spike up the graphics... then the game looks great (w/ smoothing and a high res)

Blech yeah they did FF3 was the best and will always be the best and to hell with anyone who says FF7 was the best

I still havent had time to finish 3, but it is very fun.
I liked 7, but you cant hold a candle to the original oldies. the story in 7 is iffy in too many ways, if they fixed that i would like it more than 3.
