Has anyone had the ability to actually get some hands on time with any of these? I'm seriously considering putting myself into this much debt... but i was hoping for some of your enlightened opinions... at least the ones that count. ;^)

There are several people here at work that have the Compaq models. They generally seem to be okay. Most frequent complaint is they randomly drop the wireless connection (whole workplace is on wireless).

I do not like the way that MS Word inserts the handwritten comments into various documents. Would want for much better hand-writing conversion software.

They are still a much over-priced toy. But I think that they will eventually become a mainstream item.

Basically its cool but expensive
It comes with an extra keyboard that you can slot in when you want to use it as a notebook and the tablet becomes the screen if you have large amounts of text to input.
£1938 but it looks looooovely
