game seems like it requires alot of stratagy and dedication and time..... i dun think i'll be able to play this well and it seems way to complicated to learn quickly enough to have fun.

i guess i'll just fiddle with it from time to time... game looks great though. hope someone becomes good at it and shows me easy way to play

eh, if boneyarders had a large amount of time i'm sure it would go over real well but this looks like one of those things you have to mess up on a few times to get good at it and only then will it be fun... most boneyarders are hard workers except for myself because i am a bum and a philosopher... and so most probably will not have the time to learn the game.

Here is a breakdown guys..

When you start the game go to the table that says "Warp To"

Hit scan all..
Look for an ore port and a goods port next to eachother.. On the right side of the page there is a spot to setup trade routes.. make sure to tick the warp button in making your trade route or you will be using a lot of turns..

trade trade trade.. upgrade your ships hull.. by this point you should be able to learn the rest of the game on your own..

starting port 0 is a safe haven.. use it to your advantage.

you get them in special areas sector 0 or instance you can upgrade your ship , buy jets, mines , ect ect
ya it's easy enough to upgrade your ship . the first the option makes the most improvements ...
I found that spending your money on upgrading your ship will allow you to make more money faster hehe

yeah colonists take up cargo space, so if you have a full cargo load then u cant get anymore colonists until u sell the cargo

It's based on your net worth in credits. Get a whole buncha credits and you get a higher score.

I would like to see a much smaller universe...

The universe is way too big for the number of players. My guess is that DS is taking planets and trading heavily. Once you get past the inital 1 billion credits, it's quite easy to make substantial income, especially if there aren't strong enough players to stop you. By taking other people's planets, you weaken them and strengthen yourself in one shot.

i paid a 76million credit bounty because of that lol. a smaller universe might be good but i'd hate to start over again. if we reset then maybe start us at an accelerated speed? right now we have 24 players? the blacknova forums say that roughly 10x number of players is enough sectors, 500 sectors would be good,

especially since the money i got from killing dslam was so much that the bank money place holder was to small for the anount i went to put in the back and now it says i have -1e+18 in the bank

and the fact that the universe is messed up...

what like having 5 planets in sector 2918 but only way to get there is warping there even tho my engine can get any where else (sectors 1000 or lower) in 1 turn
