I'm planning for my next part upgrade and I'm looking for what is going to most benefit my computer. I think its going to be ram but I cannot be all that sure. Like I said just one part because I work at kfc and I don't make any real money at any given point in time..

Ive got 2 slots for DDR on my motherboard.. I think my next upgrade should be to a gig of DDR... err well 512 at one time and then another 512 when I have enough cash again..

What do you use it for?

Since money is an issue get a BulletPC hardware modded 9500

basically, this slight modification gives you a 9700 Pro, but seriously saves some cash. The only downside i've read of this, is some cards will cause odd checker effects, on a minor solder screw up. BulletPC checks theirs before shipping to make sure it runs as advertised without that. I was really tempted myself to do this, considering how "cheap" it is. But i dont really need it, my GF3 suits me fine.

I'll never buy another ATI card again...

I'm waiting for nvidia's next card to come out before I go and buy a geforce 4.. no sense in buying the card if my card already runs all the games I play...

I also found somebody who has a P.O box in the U.S just across the border that I can use so pricewatch here I come.

lol.. I have issues with ATI and driver releases but I'm not stupid when it comes to a really good deal either.

I suggest buying the one from BulletPC, since they insure it for 30 days, and gaurntee that it will work like the 9700 pro, doing it yourself, you could screw yourself out of 199$ U.S. if you mess up. As it happens from time to time from the forum posts i've read on people trying to do it themselves. Let a company do it, this way you dont feel like more of an idiot if that does happen.
