Hey Guys

My nephew goes to a local school, which is desperately trying to increase it's IT provision. Its a UK, medium sized school with about 1000 students. The school is just getting its feet off the ground with its networking and systems, but still needs alot of content, and has absolutely no budget to help.

They have come to me and asked me to help them design a web page, to which I said "Ill see what I can do". I have no web design skills whatsoever, which is the reason I am asking for your help with this. They cant pay or give anything in return, but would be greatful for all design ideas they can get.

Here is the site they currently have:
http://www.chippingsodbury.ik.org/ which is provided by some free hosting company. As you can see, this is not the best of sites you have ever seen. I know there are lots of web designers out there, so any direction you can give me, or any small designs you can come up with yourself would be really great. They will not be using this host in the future, they have a free (educational organisations only) host with unlimited webspace (no Scripting support except limited ASP).

It needs to look professional, so I was thinking something like flash, themes, or something - Im not sure where to start. compared to the other schools in the area (with the same number of pupils), this website makes it look the worst.

Any help would be great.
