i just did a format , and when the PC boots up it needs a sec to think , cause it will boot up and i will go to cntrol panel then system ,it will sit there for about 10 to 20 sec , hard drive starts to spin then it pops up , WHAT the HELL ??
im confused of why it does this ? i do have over a gig of ram and freshly installed XP , can anyone help , incept art plaese .

There is probably a registry entry that tries to start a program or a Control Panel extension that's not there.
Check HK Local Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and HK Local User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. It could be an old version of TweakUI or something that doesn't start right.
