but could someone give me a good speed to set it at??? with out overheating it and make it stop working???

If it over heats you'll probably have the graphics crash; any sound it the background would probably keep running whilst everything on screen locks up solid. I had it happen a few times with my old GeForce2 MX400 (which is now running fine in my bro's PC, hmm).
